Carrying around a 17 pound infant every day should count for something, right?!
But if you also have a mini Butterball turkey that you tote around in your arms or perhaps in a carrier (I like to think of her as my weighted vest when walking, cleaning, shopping, etc), you may be feeling like your arms are often tired, and your shoulders have taken a beating. Oh, and let's not even mention that concave breastfeeding position!
I know, I know, the last thing you may be thinking about as you're rocking your Butterball to sleep is your posture. However, if the thought to stand taller does cross your mind, do it then and there...quick!...before you forget, and your mom brain moves on to something else!
In addition to posture, a well-rounded upper body strengthening routine can help diminish those aches and pains, because, lets be real, that baby will not be getting any lighter.
